A pre-race sample was taken from Jemima Charm.
Betty Armagh and Gifted Man were quick to begin. Secret Colour was slow to begin. Jemima Charm, Open All Nite and Lefty Burner collided on the first turn. Lefty Burner checked off Gifted Man on the first turn. Jemima Charm and Open All Nite collided approaching the home turn checking Open All Nite and causing Gifted Man to fall; Gifted Man severely checked Secret Colour which lost considerable ground as a result. Wicked Wendy checked off Open All Nite approaching the home turn. See You Win raced wide on the home turn.
Secret Colour was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Gifted Man was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's left thigh. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
