Zap And Yap and Nikita's Nitro were slow to begin. Zap And Yap checked off Rail Raider soon after the start. Riverdale Daisy clipped the heels of Magic Kara approaching the first turn checking Magic Kara and severely checking Riverdale Daisy and Meyer Fencing. Nikita's Nitro clipped the heels of Rail Raider on the first turn checking Rail Raider and Nikita's Nitro. Nikita's Nitro clipped the heels of Rail Raider on the first turn checking Rail Raider and Nikita's Nitro; Rail Raider raced wide as a result. Wildcard Lad checked off Bruree Jewel on the home turn. Margic Kara and Nikita's Nitro collided several times on the home turn. Magic Kara and Nikita's Nitro collided entering the home straight checking Meyer Fencing. Riverdale Daisy and Rail Raider collided in the home straight checking Rail Raider.
Rail Rider was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to it's left thigh muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
