Binnie's Boy, Always About Me and Blonde Nellie were slow to begin. Binnie's Boy, Isa Hillbilly, Solar Heat and Horizon Blue collided soon after the start checking Always About Me. Damn Nuisance crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Solar Heat severely checking Roxytron, Binnie's Boy and Isa Hillbilly. Solar Heat and Horizon Blue collided entering the back straight. Horizon Blue checked off Solar Heat approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground as a result. Isa Hillbilly and Solar Heat collided on the home turn. Binnie's Boy and Always About Me collided entering the home straight. Isa Hillbilly, Always About Me and Solar Heat collided in the home straight.
