Binnie's Boy, Always About Me and Blonde Nellie were slow to begin.  Binnie's Boy, Isa Hillbilly, Solar Heat and Horizon Blue collided soon after the start checking Always About Me.  Damn Nuisance crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Solar Heat severely checking Roxytron, Binnie's Boy and Isa Hillbilly.  Solar Heat and Horizon Blue collided entering the back straight.  Horizon Blue checked off Solar Heat approaching the home turn and lost considerable ground as a result.  Isa Hillbilly and Solar Heat collided on the home turn.  Binnie's Boy and Always About Me collided entering the home straight.  Isa Hillbilly, Always About Me and Solar Heat collided in the home straight.

Chopper Whelan was quick to begin.  Robartette, Oakmont Malawi and Feel The Wrath were slow to begin.  Deborah Rose and Yellowrock Flame collided soon after the start checking Yellowrock Flame.  Oakmont Malawi checked off Feel The Wrath soon after the start.  Deborah Rose checked off Robartette approaching the first turn checking Yellowrock Flame.  Feel The Wrath checked off Macalister Sam on the first turn.  Feel The Wrath checked off Robartette approaching the home turn.  Knight's Destiny checked off Chopper Whelan on the home turn.  Robartette and Feel The Wrath collided on the home turn checking Robartette and Macalister Sam.

Flash Galo was quick to begin.  Brooklyn Cruiser and Zipping Spice were slow to begin.  True Wishes checked off Rusty Rogers approaching the first turn.  Flash Galo, Rusty Rogers, Hold On Special and Anna Ray Girl collided on the first turn severely checking Flash Galo, Rusty Rogers and True Wishes, checking Zipping Spice and causing Brooklyn Cruiser and Where's Steamy to fall; Rusty Rogers tailed off as a result.  Hold On Special faltered on the home turn checking Zipping Spice; Hold On Special subsequently tailed off.

Brooklyn Cruiser was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Rusty Rogers was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hock, possible fracture, a 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Where's Steamy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Hold On Special was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hamstring muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
