An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Railway Conder engaged in this event on Monday 29th September, 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.
G. Peach, trainer of Cruisen Billy redeclared a new weight of 32.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cruisen Billy last raced at 31.5kgs.
Lipstick Stain and Magic Of Beam were slow to begin.
Hogg The Lot and Railway Conder collided soon after the start severely checking Railway Conder which fell as a result. Hogg The Lot, Lipstick Stain and Ligety collided on the first turn checking Hogg The Lot and Ligety. Cruisen Billy and China Rose collided entering the home straight. Dughall Entity raced wide in the home straight.
Hogg The Lot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triceps and left hamstrings. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Railway Conder was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hamstring and the left triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
