Codex and Spinning Hill were slow to begin. 

Sandfire and Berzerk collided several times approaching the first turn. Bush Courage and Jeddy Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Jeddy Bale. Letsy Bale checked off Codex approaching the first turn. Sandfire and Berzerk collided several times approaching the home turn. Spinning Hill and Letsy Bale collided approaching the home turn. Sandfire and Berzerk collided approaching the home turn and again in the home straight. 

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Railway Conder engaged in this event on Monday 29th September, 2014 pursuant to GAR 79A.

G. Peach, trainer of Cruisen Billy redeclared a new weight of 32.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cruisen Billy last raced at 31.5kgs. 

Lipstick Stain and Magic Of Beam were slow to begin.

Hogg The Lot and Railway Conder collided soon after the start severely checking Railway Conder which fell as a result. Hogg The Lot, Lipstick Stain and Ligety collided on the first turn checking Hogg The Lot and Ligety. Cruisen Billy and China Rose collided entering the home straight. Dughall Entity raced wide in the home straight.

Hogg The Lot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left triceps and left hamstrings. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Railway Conder was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hamstring and the left triceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Cosmic Daicos was a late scratching at 6.17p.m. on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Ice Contractor was quick to begin.

Tantrum Tommy and Bekim Vapour collided soon after the start checking Bekim Vapour. Tantrum Tommy and Lonesome Honey collided approaching the first turn severely checking Lonesome Honey which fell and severely checked Bekim Vapour as a result. Ice Contractor checked off Hogganaught on the first turn. 

Bekim Vapour was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Lonesome Honey was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

A sample was taken from Fearless John - winner of the event. 

Optimus Bart crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Winston Groom, Miss Bo Wicked, Miss Shirleen and Reap The Benefit. Miss Shirleen checked off Reap The Benefit on the first turn. Mo Town San and Optimus Bart collided several times on the second turn checking Optimus Bart. Miss Shirleen and Winston Groom collided on the third turn. Optimus Bart and Miss Bo Wicked collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. 

Winston Groom was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

A sample was taken from Zipping Spike - winner of the event. 

Zipping Spice and Speed Chill collided soon after the start checking Speed Chill. Zipping Spice crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Usain Buzza, Papa Hook, Rylee's Marshall and Specify. Papa Hook and Rylee's Marshall collided approaching the first turn checking Rylee's Marshall. Zipping Spice checked off Papa Hook on the first turn. Speed Chill checked off Zipping Spice approaching the home turn. Rylee's Marshall crossed to the outside entering the home straight checking Usain Buzza and Zipping Spice. Usain Buzza and Rylee's Marshall collided several times in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to trainer A. King regarding the direction that the greyhound Speed Chill be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Stewards spoke to Rene Matthyssen regarding his failure to catch the greyhound Specify and issued him with a warning. 

A sample was taken from Call Me Hank - winner of the event. 

Why Not Marie was a late scratching at 6.03p.m. due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, W. Gray was fined the sum of $100.00.

Tommy El and Dee Diamond were slow to begin. 

Chappy and Tommy El collided approaching the home turn. Chappy checked off Why Not Wayne in the home straight. 

Dee Diamond was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triceps. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Filius Flitwick and Family Interest were slow to begin. 

Missile Flash checked off Dyna Nico approaching the first turn checking Spring Leaf and Samus Allen. Spring Leaf and Mumma Hook collided on the first turn. Missile Flash checked off Samus Allen approaching the home turn. Mumma Hook checked off Missile Flash approaching the home turn. 

Family Interest was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist, right triceps and right deltoid. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Dyna Machina went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin as a result. 

Flame Bale, Immortal Power, Lektra Outlaw and Fiery Fox collided soon after the start checking Immortal Power and Fiery Fox. Flame Bale, Lektra Outlaw and Rapid Incline collided approaching the first turn checking Flame Bale. Dyna Machina, Lektra Outlaw, Rapid Incline, Immortal Power and Flame Bale collided on the first turn severely checking Rapid Incline and Fiery Fox. 

Fiery Fox was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hamstring. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

A sample was taken from Claretown Bart - winner of the event. 

Perfect Causeway, Relius Bale, Viral Bale and Kifinti collided soon after the start. Jackpot Shiraz, Rusty Peg and Classy Flyer collided approaching the first turn. Unbound crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Perfect Causeway checked off Jackpot Shiraz approaching the home turn. Jackpot Shiraz and Rusty Peg collided approaching the home turn. Perfect Causeway checked off Kifinti on the home turn. Jackpot Shiraz and Kifinti collided on the home turn. 

Our Lucky Day was slow to begin.

Lektra Georgie and Wood Cutter Stan collided soon after the start. Banga Speed and Coopnarcha collided soon after the start checking Banga Speed. Benzo Bale and Looney Lucy collided approaching the first turn. Coopnarcha crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Banga Speed, Wood Cutter Stan, Lektra Georgie and Coffee Otis. Looney Lucy crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Benzo Bale and Wood Cutter Stan and severely checking Coffee Otis which checked Banga Speed as a result, Coffee Otis faltered and tailed off. Banga Speed galloped on the heels of Our Lucky Day on the home turn checking both greyhounds. 

Coffee Otis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid, right triangle muscle, right pencil muscle, right quadricep and the left hamstring. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mahogany Bart was slow to begin. 

Dirty Angel crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Rumbalara Girl, Mahogany Bart, Nifty Nefertiti and Mouquet Farm. Zipping Electra checked off Horsham Myth approaching the home turn checking Rylee's Bandit. Rylee's Bandit checked off Zipping Electra approaching the home turn. Nifty Nefertiti checked off Dirty Angel on the home turn. Horsham Myth checked off Zipping Electra in the home straight checking Rylee's Bandit and Rumbalara Girl. 

Nifty Nefertiti was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right hamstring and left triceps. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
