Steward's Report
Orson Girl – Late scratching at 7.21am when Mr. Thomas Wark reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Quick Let's Go was a late scratching at 11:14am by Order of Stewards after it was established that the incorrect greyhound had been presented. Stewards issued a charge under GAR 86 to trainer, Mr. William Donlon for failing to present the correct greyhound to the Stewards for this event and was fined $250. The 28 day stand down period imposed on Quick Let's Go was revoked.
A pre-race sample was taken from Wicket Maiden.
Hobnail Boots and Sandy's Rebel were slow to begin.
