Cumulonimbus – Late scratching at 7.33am when Mr. Taylor Thornton reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
An out of competition sample was taken from Rattlesnake Ruby on 15/8/2023 pursuant to GAR 139.
A pre-race sample was taken from In The Riot.
Heatseeker and See Sparks Fly were slow to begin.
Heatseeker lost ground around the 150m mark, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion. No stand down period was imposed.
