Steward's Report
Who's Nanna Pat was quick to begin. Majestic George was slow to begin.
Cachi raced wide in the home straight.
Vlasta Bale (marred Xavion Bale) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. C. Hudson regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Vlasta Bale was charged with marring. Mr Hudson pleaded guilty to the charge, Vlasta Bale was suspended for 28 days at Geelong only and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
Mr. K. Howat was issued with a warning pursuant to GAR 156(f)(ii) for negligence, in that the incorrect race rug was placed on Who's Nanna Pat.
A post-race sample was taken from Who's Nanna Pat - placed second in the event.
