The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 86 (2) to allow the transfer of transportation of Mr. G Campbell's greyhounds en route to the track following a vehicle breakdown in Terang. Due to further traffic delays, Stewards had no option but to formally withdraw Mr Campbell's greyhounds engaged in Races 1 and 2.   The kennels officially closed at 2.02pm.

Fox And Friends – Late scratching at 2.02pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr G. Campbell informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown en–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Campbell that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Aston Chuck – Late scratching at 2.03pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr G. Campbell informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Campbell that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

Seth Sonic (faltered in the home straight and collapsed prior to entering the catching pen) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered PEDS - post exercise distress syndrome.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Seth Sonic is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a Satisfactory Trial is completed pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42(3), Seth Sonic is suspended from racing for 28 days at all tracks.

Elphick Bale was slow to begin.

Down South Queen (severely checked turning off the back straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

A pre–race sample was taken from - Zipping Lizzo.

Double Standard and Can Get Thirsty were slow to begin.

Double Standard raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

De La Cruz – New declared weight of 30.3kg, last raced at 28.9 kg.

Bocconcini was slow to begin.

Whirlwind Fire (catching pen), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have cramped in the catching pen. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Agent Jesse was slow to begin.

A pre–race sample was taken from - Zipping Citino.

Ruby Wren was quick to begin. Canya Dream was slow to begin.

A post -race sample was taken from Judiciary the winner of the event.

Drop Fifty was quick to begin. Saint Jayden and Lucy Jane were slow to begin. Mr. Boot Boot and Call Me Artie went up with the lids at box rise and were slow to begin. 

Daisy Deeds – Late scratching at 10.35am when trainer Mr M Keane reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.

Chasing Jimmy and Regal Rhode were quick to begin. Major Bounty was slow to begin.

Dimora Ashley was quick to begin.

Nimble Sammi (faltered in the back straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind tensor fascia lata muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
