Aston Chuck – Late scratching at 2.03pm due to non–arrival (GAR 86 and LR 39). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr G. Campbell informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on–route to the track. Stewards advised Mr Campbell that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 72 hours of the occurrence that caused the non–arrival. The matter will be re–evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

Seth Sonic (faltered in the home straight and collapsed prior to entering the catching pen) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have suffered PEDS - post exercise distress syndrome.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 42, Seth Sonic is prohibited from competing in an event until such time as both a veterinary clearance is provided to the satisfaction of Stewards and a Satisfactory Trial is completed pursuant to GAR 132. Further, under the provisions of GAR 42(3), Seth Sonic is suspended from racing for 28 days at all tracks.
