Steward's Report
Ocean Galaxy– New declared weight of 25.0kg last raced at 23.7kg.
Mr J Frewin failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Action Royale for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
Inga Jerry was quick to begin. Ocean Galaxy was slow to begin.
Inga Jerry - faltered and lost ground first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 4, no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr M Mitchell regarding Inga Jerry’s performance and racing manners on the first turn. After viewing the available race footage and interviewing Mr Peter Inguanti and Mr Mitchell and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Inga Jerry unsatisfactory. Inga Jerry must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
