Mr. T. Taylor was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for Soda Polly, pursuant to GAR 88.
A pre-race sample was taken from Store Owner.
Aston Mikaela and Archer Three were slow to begin. Annie Mikado was quick to begin.
Annie Mikado (eased approaching the winning post) underwent a post–race veterinary examination, and following a re-examination at 1.00pm, no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Representative - Ms. M. Barber regarding the racing manners of Annie Mikado approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 124, Annie Mikado was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Barber peaded guilty to the charge. Annie Mikado was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
