Steward's Report
Rob The Butcher was slow to begin.
Full Speed Ahead (eased approaching the winning post), underwent a post-race veterinary examination. It was reported the greyhound was found to be injured in the left deltoid muscle and left pectoral muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer - Mr. C. Treherne regarding the racing manners of Full Speed Ahead approaching the finishing line. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Full Speed Ahead was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Treherne pleaded not guilty to the charge. Full Speed Ahead was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
