Steward's Report
Victory Will – Late scratching at 8:28am when Trainer Mr G.Smith reported the greyhound to be lame (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
A pre–race sample was taken from Image Of Dad.
Image Of Dad and Eight Saints were slow to begin.
Image Of Dad underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr G.Smith regarding the racing manners of Image Of Dad throughout the event. After hearing submissions from Mr Smith, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, Stewards took no further action.
