Aussie Bronze and Roaring Gunn were quick to begin. Forever Ned and Aston Sinatra were slow to begin.
Aussie Bronze (lost ground turning off the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hock injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
