One Last Kiss - New declared weight of 30.4kg, last raced at 31.7kg.
American Queen and Lillico Nikki were quick to begin. One Last Kiss was slow to begin.
One Last Kiss (visibly eased approaching the turn out of the front straight). One Last Kiss underwent a post-race veterinary examination, was re-examined after race 9, and was found to have a sesamoid injury on the right hind. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Steven White regarding One Last Kiss' racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, One Last Kiss was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. White pleaded not guilty to the charge. One Last Kiss was found guilty, stood down from racing at Sandown and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
