Steward's Report
Moraine Sofia was quick to begin. Outsmart was slow to begin.
Moriane Sofia checked and lost ground on the first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr G Judd regarding Moriane Sofias racing action on the first turn and over the concluding stages. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr G Judd to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Moraine Sofia in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Fergus Bale - turned in the boxes, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have both left and right foreleg shin soreness. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Fergus Bale – Turned in the boxes, took no competitive part in the race and was placed on a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 106(1) and pursuant to GAR 132.
Supplementary Report 03.11.23: Trainer Mr G Judd, notified Stewards in accordance with GAR 122 that Moraine Sofia was free from injury but will continue to monitor over the coming days.
