Steward's Report
Aston Aurelia – Late scratching at 12.36pm when Mr B Magri reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 76). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 19(3)(w) before any future nominations will be accepted.
Fifty Short – representative Mrs M Turner was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Mrs M Turner were noted, pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Fifty Short, a post–race sample was subsequently taken.
Aston Truman and Ginnivan were slow to begin.
Aston Truman severely checked and fell first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to head and right metacarpals. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
