Steward's Report
A pre-race urine sample was taken from Black Hawk.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately one minute to allow for Club Officials to clear ducks from the track.
Born To Whisper was quick to begin. Black Hawk, Got A Scan and Whodat Hooked were slow to begin.
Magic Flux (visibly eased turning out of the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left wrist and left deltoid muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mrs. Emma Scott regarding Magic Flux's racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Magic Flux was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. Scott pleaded guilty to the charge. Magic Flux must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Flying Adler - the winner of the event.
