Steward's Report
A pre–race sample was taken from Weblec Aviator.
Nolan Bale was quick to begin. Rattle And Bang, Bomb Neave and Respect Advocacy were slow to begin.
Bomb Neave (representative's request) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the front left wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Weblec Aviator (turned head outwards in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left pencil muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Angela Langton regarding Weblec Aviator's racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Weblec Aviator was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Langton pleaded guilty to the charge, Weblec Aviator must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
