Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Aintree Rambler
Sweet Secret and Aintree Rambler was quick to begin. Saint Jayden was slow to begin.
Sweet Secret - pulled up in the home straight - underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 4 and was found to have a right wrist injury. A 7 day standown period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. R Mahony regarding Sweet Secrets racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Sweet Secret was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. R Mahony pleaded not guilty to the charge. Sweet Secret was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
