Steward's Report
An out of competition sample was taken from Minter Frost on 30 November 2023, pursuant to GAR 139.
Victa Damian was slow to begin.
Great Guy (fell on the turn into the front straight and failed to finish). Great Guy was ordered to undergo a post–race veterinary examination. However, the greyhound was not presented. Stewards spoke, via telephone, with trainer Mr. Robert Neocleous and directed him to present the greyhound to the Sale race meeting on Sunday, 3 December 2023, for a veterinary examination.
Victa Damian (faltered turning into the front straight and failed to finish), underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
Multi Matt (checked on the turn into the front straight), underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising and abrasions to the right hind metatarsus. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Post-race urine and blood samples were taken from Father Rick - the winner of the event.
Post-race samples were taken from Jackpot Joan (2nd) and Minter Frost (3rd).
Trainer Mr Raymond Webster was issued with a warning regarding his non-compliance with the GRV dress standards.
