Scott Micah (marred Hey Presto in the home straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mrs. Emma Scott regarding Scott Micah’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Scott Micah was charged with marring. Mrs. Scott pleaded guilty to the charge. Scott Micah was suspended for 28 days (1st offence) at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race urine sample was taken from Hey Presto - the winner of the event.
