Steward's Report
Phelan Seedy – Mr M Giddings was queried as significant betting fluctuations were observed by Stewards. The comments of Mr M Giddings were noted and a pre race sample was taken for analysis.
Capital Gain and Texicali Sweety quick to begin. Call Me Buddy was slow to begin.
Texicali Sweety faltered approaching home turn underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 8.Texicali Sweety was found to have a left carpal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to trainer Mr M Davison regarding Texicali Sweety's overall performance in the event.. In accordance with GAR 122, the Stewards requested Mr M Davison to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Texicali Sweety in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
Supplementary Report 17.10.23: Trainer Mr M Davison, notified Stewards in accordance with GAR 122 that Texicali Sweety was found to have no further injury.
