Steward's Report
A sample was unable to be obtained from Cool Summer upon arrival at the course, a pre–race sample was subsequently taken.
Dawny Dream was quick to begin. Marcia Hook was slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to Mr Geoffrey Scott-smith the trainer of Dundee Smokey after the greyhound underwent a post-race veterinary examinationand was found to have PEDS - post exercise distress syndrome. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards informed Mr Scott-smith that the greyhound will be monitored in future events.
Dawny Dream underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind split webbing. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
