Stewards interviewed Mr Gary McMillan in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal of Borough Premiers from this race.
A pre–race sample was taken from Be Charming.
Ms. Margaret Campbell requested an early race endorsement for Compton Gumdrops. Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian. Compton Gumdrops will compete in early races until further notice.
Plenty Of Value was slow to begin.
There was no head on vision in the home straight for this event.
