Steward's Report
Cherry Lane was slow to begin.
Cherry Lane underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg monkey injury .A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Kerry Minne regarding Chery Lane’s racing manners on the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Chery Lane was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Minne pleaded not guilty to the charge. Chery Lane was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
There was no head on vision in the home straight for this event.
