Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter Ms. Donna Robertson did not act in any official capacity that may have, in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Sacrificial - New declared weight of 25.4kgs, last raced at 26.7kgs.
Sacrificial, Brodies Tiger and My Mate Martha were quick to begin. Usain Road and Jacquinot Jet were slow to begin.
Sacrificial, Brodies Tiger and Lady Arandt raced wide in the home straight.
Brodies Tiger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hock, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Ms Amber Manning regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Brodies Tiger was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Manning pleaded guilty to the charge. Brodies Tiger was stood down from racing at Ballarat and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
