Pursuant to GAR 75(6), Starter Ms. Donna Robertson did not act in any official capacity that may have, in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Bakali Migaloo was quick to begin. Lorraine Ability was slow to begin.
Bakali Migaloo, Buster Cruise and Torpedo Tuohy raced wide in the home straight.
Tom Tom (checked by Man Of Action turning off the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury and spike wounds to both forelegs. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Man Of Action (checked and fell turning off the back straight) underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no injury reported.
Torpedo Tuohy (racing manner) underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr. John Bray regarding the racing manners of the greyhound entering the home straight and in the home straight. After hearing submissions from Mr Bray, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards took no action against the greyhound..
