A sample was taken from Windy Biscuit upon arrival at the course.
The start of this race was delayed due to the compressor at the starting boxes needing to be replaced. The race was rescheduled to 8.26pm.
Magic Chances was quick to begin. First Crack and Windy Biscuit were slow to begin.
Windy Biscuit (frequency of racing) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wound on the right hind leg and a cervico-thoracic injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
