Son Of Cindy and Naval Post were slow to begin.
Son Of Cindy marred Lake View Lena on the home turn and in the home straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Tony Tufo regarding Son Of Cindy’s racing manners. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123, Son Of Cindy was charged with marring. Mr. Tufo pleaded guilty to the charge. Son Of Cindy was suspended for 28 days at Sandown Park and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
