Dash Of Crimson and Key To Success were quick to begin.
Pride Into Power - checked and lost ground appraoching first turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have no apparent injury. Representative Mr M Gibbons declined the option to have the greyhound re–examined.
Stewards spoke to representative Mr M Gibbons regarding Pride Into Power’s performance and racing manners approaching the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mr M Gibbons, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Pride Into Power unsatisfactory. Pride Into Power must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
