A pre–race sample was taken from What's That.
Funky Faun was quick to begin. Lorraine Ability and Dialed In were slow to begin. Bonnieville Icon was very slow to begin (4 lengths).
Lorraine Ability (checked approaching the home turn, fell and tailed off in the home straight), underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a back injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
