Dyna Treason, Di'voire Belle and Serco Bale were slow to begin. Veloso went up with the lids and was slow to begin. Di'voire Belle and Serco Bale collided soon after the start checking Di'voire Belle and Veloso. Bolt On crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Bazinga Marjen and Fred Best. Dyna Treason, Veloso, Di'voire Belle and Serco Bale collided on the first turn checking Veloso and Serco Bale, severely checking Di'voire which stumbled and lost ground as a result. Di'voire Belle checked off Serco Bale approaching the second turn. Fred Best checked off Lemon Patchwork on the second turn checking Dyna Treason. Veloso checked off Serco Bale entering the back straight. Di'voire, Fred Best and Dyna Treason collided on the third turn checking Fred Best and Di'voire Belle. Veloso and Di'voire Belle collided in the home straight checking Di'voire Belle.
