Steward's Report

Noisemaker was very slow to begin (3 Lengths).  Ice Cossack and Princess Jazmiena collided soon after the start.  Crymelon Sunrise checked off Elly Nora approaching the first turn.  Ice Cossack, Gold Anthem and Quiver's Ace collided on the first turn. Noisemaker and Quiver's Ace collided on the second turn.  Ice Cossack and Proven Latte collided on the third turn.

Meeting Comments:

Re-vetted greyhound-Why Not Luke was presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling and was cleared to race. Acting under GAR83, Stewards directed that a urine sample be taken from the greyhound.  

Supplimentary Report:

Horsham 27/7/2014.

Stewards today conducted an inquiry into the circumstances pertaining to the late scratching of Arvo's Echo.  Stewards charged trainer Mr. George Arvanitis under GAR 86(o) in that he did fail to present the greyhound Arvo's Echo for it's engagement at Horsham on 27/7/2014, which in the opinion of stewards was negligent.  Mr. Arvanitis pleaded guilty to the charge, Mr. Arvanitis was found guilty and fined the sum of $200.00.
