A pre–race sample was taken from Alfa Bullet.
Lily Luna Potter and Alfa Bullet were quick to begin. Yellow Hawk was slow to begin.
Cool Doull Keats underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg toe injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr M Mcclelland regarding Cool Doull Keats’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Cool Doull Keats was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr M Mcclelland pleaded guilty to the charge. Cool Doull Keats must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
