Sins To Burn – Late scratching at 2:03pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a laceration to the right metatarsal.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Big Robbie and Moraine Tom were slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to the Starter and reminded him of his responsibilities after he commenced to load the greyhounds prior to activating the amber light.

Big Robbie -Trailed the field throughout and underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Paul Herry regarding Big Robbie’s performance. After hearing submissions from Mr. Herry, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Big Robbie unsatisfactory. Big Robbie must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Inga Izzy visibly eased approaching the turn off the back straight, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms. Mary Inguanti regarding Inga Izzy’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Inga Izzy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Inguanti pleaded not guilty to the charge, Inga Izzy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A post–race sample was taken from Classic Reward – the winner of the event. 

Crooked Shadows was slow to begin.

A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Crooked Shadows, a post-race sample was subsequently taken. 

No head-on vision was available for this event.

Prior to the running of this event, due to persistent rainfall, Stewards inspected the track and deemed it satisfactory for racing.

Lektra Dish was quick to begin.  Dr. Forest was slow to begin.

Double Rainbow, Zulu Ghost and Aston Jasper were slow to begin.

Lexi The Star underwent a post–race veterinary examination due to frequency of racing - no apprent injury was reported.

A pre–race sample was taken from Banjo Jack.

Guster Bale and Orson Thunder were slow to begin.

Orson Thunder underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a fractured toe to the left front foot.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Manson was slow to begin.

Hartley Bale was quick to begin.  Florey Bale was slow to begin.

Vans Turbo underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mrs. Elizabeth Steel regarding the racing manners of Vans Turbo approaching the first turn. After hearing submissions from Mrs. Steel, viewing the available race footage and having their own observations, the Stewards issued a warning to connections regarding the greyhound’s racing manners.

Due to Gawler Harness being postponed, this event was rescheduled to start at 6:03pm.

Don't Snap was quick to begin.  Hail Zeus was slow to begin.

A pre–race sample was taken from Diva Dot.

Diva Dot and Afro Puff were quick to begin.  Reiko Clooney was slow to begin.

Inga Letty was severely checked on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration on the left hind foot. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. 

I'm Indigo was slow to begin.

Juice was severely checked on the first turn, underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hock.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Hazelnut and Nyssa's Girl were quick to begin.  Myola Frost was slow to begin.

Satisfactory Trial -
