Steward's Report
Sins To Burn – Late scratching at 2:03pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 92) due to a laceration to the right metatarsal. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Big Robbie and Moraine Tom were slow to begin.
Stewards spoke to the Starter and reminded him of his responsibilities after he commenced to load the greyhounds prior to activating the amber light.
Big Robbie -Trailed the field throughout and underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left carpal sprain. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Paul Herry regarding Big Robbie’s performance. After hearing submissions from Mr. Herry, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards deemed the performance of Big Robbie unsatisfactory. Big Robbie must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 129, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
