Moraine Chloe and Inga Sally were quick to begin.  Cosmic Bruce, Head Bin and Umbilical Man were slow to begin.

Chasing Barbie was quick to begin.  Inga Sid was slow to begin.

Mr Stephen Tabb was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Distal pursuant to GAR 88.

Lothbrok Girl was quick to begin.  Saint Max was very slow to begin (4L).

Chasing Her Tail lost ground on the home turn, underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.

Distal turned its head inwards on the home turn and collided with Lothbrok Girl, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race eight, no apparent injury could be detected.  Stewards spoke to Mr Mathew Tabb, the representative of Distal regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 124 Distal was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Tabb pleaded guilty to the charge, Distal was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hey Tootle – New declared weight of 30.3 kg, last raced at 29.2 kg.

Kulmani Sapphire was slow to begin.

Solar Lock was slow to begin.

Back Pat faltered on the first turn and tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg hock injury.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the first turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing.

Reel It In – The frequency of racing of was discussed with Mr Jason Formosa, the comments were noted.

A pre–race sample was taken from Inter Clem.

Inga Letty underwent a post–race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a spike wound to the left hindleg foot.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

It was noted that the muzzle of Vans Turbo became partially dislodged during the running of the event.

Big Brew racing manners home straight, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right hindleg foot.  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr Raymond  Brewer regarding the racing manners of Big Brew in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr Brewer, viewing the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Manson, Just A Brew and Storm Shelter were slow to begin.

A post–race sample was taken from Abdominis – the winner of the event.

A sample was taken from Nyssa's Girl upon arrival at the course.

Tuzla Bale was slow to begin.

Infinite Will lost ground on the first turn and tailed off, underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Clever Trevor – New declared weight of 32.3 kg, last raced at 34.3 kg.
