Steward's Report
Hooded Monkey and Cool Whip were slow to begin.
Liverpool Street (turned head inwards and marred Romena Charm in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination – no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Representative Mr P.Radstock regarding Liverpool Street’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Liverpool Street was charged with marring. Mr Radstock pleaded guilty to the charge, Liverpool Street was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.
