Cam's Girl turned its head inwards and marred Stack It On approaching the winning post underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Trainer Mr B.Merton regarding Cam's Girl’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 123 Cam's Girl was charged with marring. Mr Merton pleaded guilty to the charge, Cam's Girl was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bok Choy (eased in the home straight) underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race five. Bok Choy was found to have a left wrist injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Representative Mr G.Kantzidis regarding Bok Choy’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 125, Bok Choy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Kantzidis pleaded not guilty to the charge, Bok Choy was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 125, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr Radstock pleaded guilty to the charge, Liverpool Street was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 127, and pursuant to GAR 132, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Trainer Mr Peter Dunlevey failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Gunai Redeemer for racing. A warning was issued pursuant to GAR 97(2).
