Spring Train was slow to beign.
Spring Train, Crackerjack Burn and Spring Clover collided soon after the start checking Spring Train. Harcourts Joe and Spring Hope collided approaching the first turn checking Harcourts Joe. Ernie Old and Spring Grace collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Grace. Spring Train checked off Spring Clover approaching the first turn. Spring Clover and Spring Grace collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Spring Hope and Harcourts Joe collided entering the home straight severely checking Harcourts Joe.
Harcourts Joe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left elbow. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
