Tiger Chien and Got The Picture were slow to begin. 

Bloss's Blitzen and Little Wrecker collided several times approaching the first turn. Little Wrecker, Bloss's Blitzen, Spritely Cru, Bombora Storm and Rugall collided on the first turn checking Spritely Cru, Bombora Storm and Rugall and severely checking Little Wrecker which fell as a result. Bombora Storm and Rugall collided approaching the home turn checking Rugall. Bloss's Blitzen checked off Kosmik King approaching the home turn. Bloss's Blitzen and Got The Picture collided on the home turn. Kosmik King and Got The Picture collided in the home straight checking Kosmik King. Kosmik King and Tiger Chien collided in the home straight. 

Kosmik King was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Little Wrecker was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left foreleg. A 30 day stand down period was imposed. 

Superliner was a late scratching at 11.29am with Stewards approval. No stand down penalty was applied.

He Throws Bombs and Spring Gogolac collided soon after the start. Crackerjack Max crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Bombora Flash, Spring Candy, Roethlisberger, Spring Gogolac and He Throws Bombs. Spring Gogolac checked off He Throws Bombs approaching the first turn. Bombora Flash and Crackerjack Max collided approaching the first turn. Roethlisberger checked off Crackerjack Max on the first turn. Spring Collete and He Throws Bombs collided approaching the home turn. Roethlisberger checked off Spring Gogolac entering the home straight. Bombora Flash raced wide in the home straight.

Spring Train, Crackerjack Burn and Spring Clover collided soon after the start checking Spring Train. Harcourts Joe and Spring Hope collided approaching the first turn checking Harcourts Joe. Ernie Old and Spring Grace collided approaching the first turn checking Spring Grace. Spring Train checked off Spring Clover approaching the first turn. Spring Clover and Spring Grace collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Spring Hope and Harcourts Joe collided entering the home straight severely checking Harcourts Joe. 

Harcourts Joe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left elbow. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Bekim Echo was slow to begin.

Bloss's Bluffing, Shifty Jack, Lainey Bale and Warami Sam collided soon after the start checking Shifty Jack and Lainey Bale. Marungi Choice crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Jeddy Bale and Dancing Madi. Bloss's Bluffing checked off Warami Sam approaching the first turn. Bloss's Bluffing faltered on the first turn, contacted the rail and pulled up. Jeddy Bale, Dancing Madi and Warami Sam collided approaching the home turn checking Dancing Madi and Warami Sam. 

Bloss's Bluffing was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left tibia and was humanely euthanised. 

Lena Allen crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Bit Hot Henry, Enjoy Cruising, Sahara and Velocemente. Bit Hot Henry checked off Sahara on the first turn. Velocemente, Lena Allen and Enjoy Cruising collided approaching the second turn. Boris Bekim and Velocemente collided on the home turn. Bit Hot Henry checked off Sahara in the home straight. 

Rumero Reason, Allen Firestorm and Thor Bale were slow to begin.

Hunter Rocks, Slipaway Twister, Kilcolegan Cross and Sun Valley collided on the first turn severely checking Kilcolegan Cross and Slipaway Twister. Hunter Rocks checked off Sun Valley entering the back straight. Hunter Rocks raced wide in the home straight.

Navaho and Akina Akeira collided soon after the start checking Navaho. Whatta Brew crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Filius Flitwick, Akina Akeira, Navaho and Allen Wake. Sally Gardens checked off Filius Flitwick on the first turn. Stylish Shazz checked off Allen Wake on the first turn. Sally Gardens crossed to the rail on the second turn checking Whistler Bale. Allen Wake and Stylish Shazz collided on the second turn and again approaching the home turn. 

Allen Wake which perfromed below marked expectations was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.

Ucem and Wood Cutter Stan were quick to begin.

Dynamo's Miss and Spring Leaf collided approaching the first turn checking Dynamo's Miss. Ucem checked off Call Me Hank on the first turn checking Wood Cutter Stan. Spring Leaf checked off Wood Cutter Stan on the first turn checking Claretown Bart and Dynamo's Miss. Spring Leaf checked off All Inn Troy in the home straight. Claretown Bart and Wood Cutter Stan collided approaching the winning post.

Red Light Runner and Nikita's Nitro collided soon after the start checking Red Light Runner. Little Boots crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Setsuna Bale and Phaser Bale. Blue Suede Girl checked off Phaser Bale  approaching the first turn. Phaser Bale and Little Boots collided approaching the first turn. Spring Tiara checked off Phaser Bale on the first turn checking Nikita's Nitro and Red Light Runner. Blue Suede Girl and Nikita's Nitro collided approaching the home turn. Red Light Runner and Blue Suede Girl collided approaching the home turn. Red Light Runner and Spring Estelle collided on the home turn. Red Light Runner, Spring Estelle and Blue Suede Girl collided entering the home straight. Spring Tiara and Nikita's Nitro collided several times in the home straight. 

Necro Bale was quick to begin. Ayden Jackson and Verbal Warning were slow to begin. 

Milly O'Muffin checked off Some Are Ready soon after the start. Norman Benz, Maximum Chez and Ayden Jackson collided approaching the first turn checking Ayden Jackson. Norman Benz, Maximum Chez and Some Are Ready collided on the first turn checking Ayden Jackson and severely checking Some Are Ready which contacted the rail and lost considerable ground. Verbal Warning checked off Ayden Jackson approaching the home turn. Some Are Ready and Milly O'Muffin collided entering the home straight.

Verbal Warning was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. S. Thomas, trainer of Verbal Warning and issued her with a warning regarding her tardiness in boxing the greyhound. 

Maximum Maddy and Mega Gene were slow to begin. 

Gustow Bale, Lucky Liam and All Vapour collided soon after the start checking All Vapour. Maximum Maddy, Mordor Bale and All Bar One collided soon after the start. Gustow Bale and All Vapour collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn severely checking Gustow Bale. Mordor Bale checked off Lucky Liam approaching the home turn. Lucky Liam brushed the running rail approaching the home turn. All Vapour and Mega Gene collided on the home turn severely checking Mega Gene. Gustow Bale and All Vapour collided several times in the home straight. Lucky Liam checked off All Bar One approaching the winning post.

Mr. S. Berriman, trainer of Peyton Paradise redeclared a new weight of 32.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Peyton Paradise last raced at 31.0kgs.

Belena Lad, Denman Flyer, Water Bag and Sam Toocan collided approaching the first turn checking Denman Flyer and Water Bag and severely checking Sam Toocan. Belena Lad and Tango And Cash collided approaching the first turn severely checking Belena Lad. Denman Flyer and Tango And Cash collided on the first turn checking Tango And Cash. Denman Flyer and Water Bag collided approaching the home turn. Belena Lad clipped the heels of Tango And Cash approaching the home turn. Satisfactory Trial Results -

Trial 1

Sir Russ trialled over the 450m from box 1, weight 29.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 25.56 the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 10.5 lengths. Sir Russ was Cleared. 

Trial 2

Southwood Lexie trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight  27.8kgs, the greyhound was placed 3 in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.34 the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 3 lengths. Southwood Lexie was Cleared.
