Dr. Buffy and Bowl 'Em Out collided soon after the start.  Vernon Bale and Dr. Buffy collided approaching the first turn.  Kallara Gem and Weston East collided on the first turn.  Dr. Buffy and Kallara Gem collided on the second turn checking Kallara Gem.  Marciarno Miss checked off Kallara Gem entering the back straight.  Dr. Cinnamon contacted the running rail entering the back straight.  Bowl 'Em Out checked off Weston East on the third turn.  Vernon Bale and Dr. Buffy collided approaching the home turn.  Kallara Gem checked off Dr. Buffy on the home turn.

Dr. Cinnamon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Hunter Rocks and Dyna Synch were slow to begin.  Scanez Cee attempted to cross to the inside checking Just A Taste and Dyna Synch. Fragility and Just A Taste collided on the first turn.  Hunter Rocks and Scanez Cee collided on the first turn causing Scanez Cee to race wide. Just A Taste checked off Polly Bale approaching the second turn.  Hunter Rocks and Scanez Cee collided on the home turn.

Dyna Orion was a late scratching at 6:27pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37).  No stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dyna Geldof and Rumero Reason were slow to begin and collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Geldof checked off Whistler Bale entering the front straight.  Sonic Pirate raced wide in the back straight.

Fantasizzing was slow to begin.  Dyna Perseus crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Echelonic Action and Little Red.  Little Red checked off Tropical Thunder on the first turn.  Double Rinse and Tropical Thunder collided approaching the second turn checking Tropical Thunder.  Ima Fairytale checked off Dyna Perseus approaching the second turn.  Fantasizzing checked off Little Red entering the front straight and collided with Tropical Thunder as a result.  Tropical Thunder galloped on the heels of Fantasizzing approaching the fourth turn.  Double Rinse and Echelonic Action collided on the home turn and in the home straight.

Just Ducal and Allen Wake were slow to begin.  Matlin's Tornado, Supersonic Hawk, Allen Wake, Galloping Rocky and Paris Sparks collided on the first turn checking Matlin's Tornado, Supersonic Hawk and Allen Wake.  Matlin's Tornado and Supersonic Hawk collided on the second turn. Allen Wake crossed to the rail in the front straight.  Matlin's Tornado and Supersonic Hawk collided on the fifth turn.

Stewards noted that there was no designated catcher for the greyhound, Supersonic Hawk.  After an investigation of the matter, Stewards charged Ms. C. Brinsley pursuant to GAR 86(o), in that she did fail to catch the greyhound, which in the opinion of stewards was negligent.  Ms. Brinsley pleaded guilty to the charge and was found guilty.  Stewards issued a $200 fine to Ms. Brinsley, which was inclusive of a previously suspended fine for a similar offence at The Meadows on 6th August 2014.

Enchanted Bling was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it''s right thigh and grazing to it's right front toe.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Just Ducal, the winner of the event.

Beks was slow to begin.  Shot To Bits and Major Missile collided soon after the start severely checking Major Missile.  Nureyev and Blinker's On collided on the first turn checking Nureyev.  Newfire Riley checked off Shot To Bits on the first turn.  Shot To Bits and Blinker's On collided approaching the second turn.  Shot To Bits checked off Blinker's On on the second turn and collided with Nureyev as a result.  Major Missile faltered on the second turn and pulled up as a result.  Newfire Riley and Beks collided on the third turn.  Darbain Dasher and Love Affair collided on the fifth turn checking Darbain Dasher.  Newfire Riley and Beks collided on the fifth turn and again on the home turn.

Shot To Bits was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Subsequent to the event, Stewards spoke to the trainer of Shot To Bits, Mr. P. Ryder regarding the greyhound's apparent disappointing performance in this event.  Mr. Ryder stated that he believed that the interference the greyhound received early in the race impacted heavily on the greyhound's chances.  Mr. Ryder also observed that this was the first time the greyhound had raced over the distance at Sandown. Despite these factors, Mr. Ryder added that he had been very confident of the greyhound's chances prior to the race and had expected a forward showing.  Stewards noted Mr. Ryder's comments and also directed that a sample be taken from the greyhound.

Major Missile was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right back muscle.  A 30 day stand down period was imposed.

Velocemente and Honeydukes collided soon after the start checking Velocemente.  Velocemente checked off Honeydukes approaching the third turn causing Honeydukes to race wide as a result.  Noddy Holder checked off Velocemente on the home turn.

Speed Series, Go Mobo and Dyna Ostrander collided soon after the start.  Lamia Bale, Dyna Ishaan, Speed Series, Go Mobo and Zipping Snoopy collided on the first turn checking Dyna Ishaan, Go Mobo and Zipping Snoopy; Zipping Snoopy raced wide as a result.  Lamia Bale, Dyna Ishaan and Speed Series collided on the second turn checking Dyna Ishaan.  Speed Series checked off Lamia Bale on the third turn. Dyna Ishaan checked off Zipping Snoopy approaching the home turn.

A sample was taken from Mystic Twist, the winner of the event.

Dr. Klaas checked off Rinash soon after the start.  Jersey Jack, Gorham Bale and Crowdza Captive collided soon after the start.  Jersey Jack checked off Bayman Bale approaching the first turn.  Crowdza Captive checked off Bayman Bale approaching the first turn.  Rinash, Crowdza Captive and Gorham Bale collided on the first turn severely checking Gorham Bale and Crowdza Captive; Gorham Bale fell as a result.  Bayman Bale and Hot Whirl collided entering the home straight.

Gorham Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Crowdza Captive was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it right hamstring and grazing to it's left and right calfs.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Kiltah Magic, the winner of the event.

Tweak was slow to begin.  Lady Goldenpaw and Rumbling Rick collided soon after the start.  Waymore's Blues galloped on the heels of Rumbling Rick on the first turn checking Rumbling Rick.  Lektra Lethal, Rumbling Rick, Waymore's Blues and Tweak collided on the first turn checking Lektra Lethal; Waymore's Blues and Tweak raced wide as a result.

Jewel Bale and What For collided soon after the start.  Grand Faith and What For collided soon after the start.  Grand Faith and Dr. Paulie collided approaching the first turn checking Grand Faith.  Bremer and Strange Wish collided approaching the first turn checking Strange Wish.

A sample was taken from Highbury, the winner of the event.

Dyna Fancy was quick to begin.  Minority stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.  Dr. Rahoual and Allen Icarus collided approaching the first turn.  Pedro's Runaway and Erza Allen collided on the first turn.  Cruiser's Sol checked off Allen Icarus on the first turn.  Erza Allen faltered in the back straight and tailed off as a result.  Dr. Rahoual raced wide in the back straight.

Erza Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock.  A 30 day stand down period was imposed.
