Bugg Hugg and Solar Heat were slow to begin. Ellava Flyer was very slow to begin (6 lengths). Bugg Hugg checked off Solar Heat approaching the first turn. Joe Handson, Lindenow Bomber, Warami Sam and Loving Angels collided on the first turn checking Joe Handson, Lindenow Bomber and Warami Sam. Joe Handson checked off Warami Sam on the first turn and stumbled as a result.
Bugg Hugg was vetted and after being re vetted following event 3, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Joe Handson was vetted and after being re vetted following event 4, it was reported that the greyhound sustained superficial lacerations to the left hock. No stand down period was imposed.
