Steward's Report
Flying Casey and Remo Belle collided soon after the start. Remo Belle checked off Billie Arcade on the first turn checking Herodium. Flying Casey and Billie Arcade collided approaching the home turn checking Billie Arcade. Herodium raced wide on the home turn checking Natie's Girl. Remo Belle and Pyrenees Grand collided entering the home straight. Southwood Lexie eased and collided with Billie Arcade in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Stanton, trainer of Southwood Lexie which was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Southwood Lexie with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
