Kilcolegan Cross, Groove Girl and Hard Merchandise collided soon after the start checking Groove Girl and Kilcolegan Cross; Kilcolegan Cross collided with Destiny's List as a result. Hard Merchandise and Fearless John collided approaching the first turn. Under Taker and Groove Girl collided on the first turn checking Groove Girl which raced wide as a result. Destiny's List and Kilcolegan Cross collided on the second turn checking Kilcolegan Cross. Kilcolegan Cross and Groove Girl raced wide on the home turn.
