Fire Maple Song, Irish Down Under and Wally Portelli collided soon after the start checking Irish Down Under and Wally Portelli. Fire Maple Song crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Be My Love. Irish Down Under checked off Planetman on the home turn. Wally Portelli and Irish Down Under collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Fire Maple Song checked off Be My Love approaching the winning post.
