Steward's Report
Morales and Stana's Hope were very slow to begin (4 lengths). Baby Blitzen crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Thracian, Sir Murray and Queen Hera. Reality Girl, Queen Hera and Baby Blitzen collided approaching the first turn checking Reality Girl and Queen Hera. Thracian checked off Sir Murray approaching the first turn checking Morales and Santa's Hope, severely checking Thracian which raced wide as a result. Reality Girl, Baby Blitzen and Ginsue collided on the first turn checking Ginsue, Baby Blitzen, Sir Murray and Queen Hera. Morales and Santa's Hope collided approaching the second turn checking Santa's Hope. Sir Murray clipped the heels of Ginsue approaching the third turn. Ginsue clipped the heels of Sir Murray on the third turn causing Ginsue to fall, checking Queen Hera, Morales, Santa's Hope, Thracian and severely checking Baby Blitzen.
Baby Blitzen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Ginsue was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right thigh and left shoulder. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
